Translating sound into images is one of the most complex and fascinating aspects of my photographic process. Working with musicians presents a unique challenge: it’s not just about capturing their physical presence but also conveying, through gestures, movements, framing, and visual elements, the artist’s intent behind their musical compositions. It’s a collaborative interplay between subject and photographer—often unfolding as a visual dance that tells a story far deeper than what meets the eye.

For this gallery, I highly recommend taking your time, pairing your journey with a good playlist, and immersing yourself in the intent behind each portrait. It is primarily the artists themselves who set the tone in these photographic explorations, where their creations come to life through imagery.

album covers

Although this segment is not extensively represented in my portfolio, I have been consistently driven by the intention to help artists create their album covers for the past few years. These visuals emerge from deep listening to their compositions and a series of interviews with the artists to define the visual approach that best suits their projects.

My first album cover was Alma for the Argentine artist Nicki Nicole, an image that was nominated for Best Album Cover at the Gardel Awards, the most prestigious music awards in Argentina.

Attending the concerts of artists I admire has become one of my favorite pastimes in recent years. Capturing the excitement, anxiety, and chaos that unfold backstage at festivals and tours has deeply influenced the way I document my love for music.

My favorite place is among the crowd—the fans who feel, jump, scream, sing, and cry to the songs of their idols. For me, that energy holds greater significance than the view from the stage. That’s why I strive to document the full experience, creating complete visual memories of musical moments.
